Atlantic-Community.org in Transition
Dear Atlantic Community,
Thank you very much for your active engagement and your contribution to the transatlantic debate via our open online think tank Atlantic-Community.org throughout the past decade.
It has been a truly fulfilling and inspiring mission to publish your opinion editorials, host regular theme weeks, and hold policy workshop competitions. Together we have written member-driven policy recommendations, representing the voices of the transatlantic community.
A lot has changed since Atlantic-Community.org launched as the first online foreign policy think tank in 2007 and we at the Atlantische Initiative e.V. feel the urge to rethink and adapt our online presence and our offers to you, the members of the Atlantic Community.
What does this mean for you? In the coming days we will archive the current Atlantic Community website, which means that the member area will be deactivated. While you will still be able to access published articles, you will no longer be able to log-in or submit articles via the submission form. Of course, we continue to gladly accept your contributions via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Atlantische Initiative will continue to encourage open and democratic dialogue on the transatlantic partnership and cooperation in the future and we invite you to continue to be a part of the discussion and have your say on foreign policy developments and issues impacting the transatlantic community.
While we are working on a new web presence that will continue to include the open online think tank, our focus in the coming months will be on our current project, the Atlantic Expedition, a fellowship program which aims to empower a young and diverse generation of leaders in transatlantic relations. Throughout the program, participants from both sides of the Atlantic discuss and implement creative and innovative ideas on how to modernize transatlantic relations. To virtually join our Atlantic journey and to add your voice to the discussion, please find the Atlantic Expedition on Facebook and Twitter.
We are looking forward to continuing the dialogue with you and will keep you posted on the upcoming website relaunch!
Your team at the Atlantische Initiative e.V.
