TTIP Governance Rules
Atlantic-community.org has published many articles on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) from many opponents, critics, and supporters since January 2013.
The Atlantische Initiative, publisher of atlantic-community.org, has accepted funding for our work on TTIP only from the US Diplomatic Mission to Germany for one project "T-TIP: Myths vs Reality" which runs from September until November 2014.
In April 2015 we received a donation from UPS. If we accept funding from other parties in the future, we will immediately declare their sponsorship on the appropriate page of our website.
All contributors and future donors have to acknowledge Atlantic Community's editorial independence, and subscribe to an agreement that they will not seek to unduly influence TTIP coverage on the Atlantic Community platform. The editorial team will never favor sponsors in any way whatsoever!
The Atlantische Initiative takes a positive view on TTIP as a means to strengthen transatlantic relations, but also acknowledges legitimate criticism. The editorial team moderates the debate without taking a position. Published participants in the forum must use evidence-based arguments and all parties, whether authors or commentators, must agree to adhere to the site's code of conduct.
