China Must Rethink Economic Growth Model

Vivian Yang, Asia Times | August 24, 2011

China has criticized the US for its debt problems, but Beijing’s own growth model is “fraught with difficulties”. ++ Since US and EU debt issues leave its export-driven economy vulnerable to market fluctuations, Beijing must bolster domestic demand. ++ It can do so by relocating industry to cheap-labor inland provinces and encouraging coastal regions to focus on service and high-tech industries, while increasing household income through rural entrepreneurship. ++ As always, though, Beijing must also keep a close eye on its environmental impact.

I like this comment! What's this?
Volume of real estate market in some China’s large cities decreased sharply in 2010. Based on rational reconstruction of some basic economic thought and analytical narrative of the real estate price bubble ,I conclude that it should be contributed to a big gap between demand and supply, and financial crisis would break out in the coming few month in China. I make proposal that government should be reducing state-owned share
