Despite overtures from the Obama Administration, Pyongyang
refuses to return to the nuclear non-proliferation negotiating table. ++ The US'diplomatic process is on the verge of legitimizing North Korea's weapons program which "would fly in the face of American foreign policy" since 1967, undermine the prospects of the proposed negotiations with Iran. ++ "Nuclear proliferation could run out of control." ++ The US needs all regional powers to help provide a solution - including a concept for "the political evolution of Northeast Asia."
