Internship in Security Policy, Middle Eastern Studies in Summer 2012
My name is Omar El-Nahry. I am a third year student at University College London. I am currently studying for a BA in European Social and Political Studies, with a specialisation in International Relations.
I am looking for an internship for next summer, ideally between mid-July and September 2012. I am especially interested in the study of international and regional security studies, especially in the Middle East. Therefore, looking for an international organisation, NGO or business that is working on security matters in general or in the region or on Europe’s relations with the Middle East in more general terms.
So far, I have not had the chance to gain much experience in the field. It is however the focus of my academic interests as well as an area of work that I would be interested in after my studies. Furthermore, I am a native speaker of Arabic and am currently learning Hebrew.
