A World Free of Nuclear Weapons

R Rajaraman, Jawaharlal Nehru University | March 7, 2008

The goal of global nuclear disarmament must not be abandoned. ++ Recent positive developments at the Oslo conference suggest that all nations should continue to work together toward this goal. ++ The disarmament appeal needs to be more universal. ++ Hopefully, the calls for more diplomatic-scientific cooperation, firm commitment from leaders, and expanded education will be remembered.

I like this comment! What's this?
Avery sane approach to a burning issue. However, in the world today, homilies appear to be matched, generally, by defiance of International Law by the powerful countries, more so the US while it remains the only superpower. Those with good intentions must keep their protests etc in place; maybe some day it works before it is too late for all of us.
