An Obama-Webb Ticket?

Alex Massie, The Debatable Land | April 3, 2007

While Jim Webb would have many weaknesses on the campaign trail, he could be a great vice president to Obama. ++ Senator Webb's military experience outstrips that of any other likely democratic VP candidate, his authenticity gains him respect, and he could help Obama win in several red states. ++ He would be viewed as a cultural conservative and genuine democratic, and would symbolically balance the Obama ticket.
