Crowdsourcing the British

Roland Watson, Times Online | June 9, 2010

The British Chancellor of the Exchequer is calling on the public to help decide what costs to cut in an effort to rein in government spending. ++ George Osborne “wants unprecedented engagement from trade unions, charities, other groups and individuals.” ++ Ministers will also be required to attend public meetings discussing which programs to axe. ++ Mr. Cameron blamed the “Whitehall machine that led the country to such a state.” ++ Now it is up to the British to save "our whole way of life.”
