Davos: A First Step Out of the Crisis

Davos provided the starting point of the way out of the financial crisis by bringing together G-20 leaders. ++ Climate change can become part of the economic revival, with the job and technology opportunities that sustainable energy offers. ++ An important conclusion is the need to review businesses’ system of renumeration, and short-term greed must be addressed. ++ Davos participants showed a willingness to work together which will be fundamental: this is not simply wishful thinking, but an imperative if we are to “stop our world falling apart.”
