Global Economy Outweighs Concern Over Tibet

Rahul Sharma, Hindustan Times | March 26, 2008

The world economy depends upon China. ++ The US in particular can't afford to criticize China - it depends too heavily upon Chinese foreign exchange reserves, above all in this time of financial crisis. ++ The West will not act on the issue of Tibet - China is too powerful to be accused of things it doesn't want to be accused of. ++ Tibet is the least important issue at stake and global economic leaders will recognize that.
