Isolationism is Rising in the United States

Victor Davis Hanson, Hoover Institution | March 26, 2008

Between the recession and the Iraq war, isolationism is growing in America. ++ American anger at Europe's inability to defend itself furthers the isolationist impulse, with conservatives and liberals converging on the issue. ++ Despite growing popularity of the idea, American isolationism would be short sighted and have negative global consequences, leaving the world to face China and other issues alone.

I like this comment! What's this?
It is NOT short-sighted to finally demand Europe defend themselves. In fact, it's WAY past time to remove all US forces from the european theater, and sever all military contracts.

Time for them to stop BITCHING and start BUILDING their defensive posture. Or die. Don't really care otherwise.
