Israel Must Acknowledge Futility of War On Terror

Israel, America’s protegée, assigns positive value to the policy of the war on terror. ++ Israeli FM Livni has said the country is “part of the free world and fights extremism and terrorism [...] you're with us or you're with the terrorists.” ++ At a time when the war on terror is labeled as America’s gravest foreign policy mistake and the world condemns the Israeli invasion of Gaza, it is crucial that President Obama pursue a more balanced policy than his predecessors towards Israel and the wider Middle Eastern region.
