Barack Obama's first budget has seen him deliver the promises he set out in his campaign, without any signs of a bipartisan approach. ++ Sought after healthcare reform will be delivered by tax reforms, with greater tax contributions being made by high earners in the economy.++ Reformed healthcare, redistribution of wealth and investment in public services are the cornerstones of Obama's budget. ++ President Obama has shown courage in his convictions, but it remains to be seen if they will benefit his country in the long term.
