Pakistan's Need to Adress the Right Issues
Kamal Siddiqi, The International News | August 11, 2009
Pakistan would gain much more if the public debate focused on crucial issues like crime, poverty, health and education instead of only discussing the guilt of former President Musharraf. ++ The discussion should be guided by the aim of finding out who really benefited from the unelected governments and military rule, and who suffered the most. ++ In order to keep Pakistan's democracy alive, the people should look deeper and "put the whole system on trial, not just one person in the dock."
