The Russian Energy Rule is Over

For years, Russia has largely benefited from its "energy super power" strategy. ++ Today, using gas and oil supplies as a tool for the Russian diplomacy is becoming less relevant. ++ While the European market is oversupplied and battles over the pipelines routes are almost over, the Arctic reserves supposed to boost Russia's resources stocks turn out not to be exploitable because of costs.++" It's time for Moscow to kiss goodbye those dreams of energy hegemony" and stop dismissing investors whenever Russia feels like it.

I like this comment! What's this?
It is quite far from the right point of view. Despite of great possibilities, offered by conventional gas production, LNG and diversification routes, many EU countries continue to step on the same rake, while denying to develop common energy policy towards any energy suppliers.
It is to be expected, that current situation is more like period of rest in future energy disputes, which will become even stronger and heartless after previous defeats.
We are staying on the threshold of the bride information campaign, which is prior to next actions.
The main battle area, as expected, will be in the Eastern and Central countries, depending to a great extent on supplies from only source. Nevertheless, appeals of some hard-nosed hard-nosed politicians are not heard neither in European Commission nor by the largest consuming countries.
Energy relations remain a political issue and resist to become a pure market sphere. Unfortunately, from the history is well known, that if one sphere become a tool on the game of politics, the players yield to temptation winning by all means.
