Walk the Walk G20!

Editorial, Le Figaro (in French) | August 27, 2009

Until now, leaders from the G20 countries have not shied away from grand declarations as to how the world of finance must change. ++ Most statements involve deep cuts in executive bonuses and the granting of state credits for corporations. ++ President Nicolas Sarkozy has been especially frank in condemning bankers that were supposedly responsible for the crisis. ++ "He has now obligated himself to provide concrete results” as soon as possible. ++ The public pleads for effective policy strategies from the G20 summit in Pittsburgh.
