This paper examines the dynamics and
implications of the Czech Republic's post-communist generation, disconnected from
previous generations and disaffected by the European Union. As the lingering
threads of communist corruption persist in Prague and elsewhere throughout the
country, will the post-communist generation pick up the democratic mantle that
is being passed to them from those who participated in the 1989 Velvet
Revolution?
