"Germany - Land of Ideas" is a shared initiative of the German government and commerce and industry, represented by the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and leading corporations, under the patronage of Federal President Horst Köhler.
The competition sought to award places where innovation, new talent, new ideas and constructive curiosity are prevalent - the very principles upon which Atlantic-community.org bases its work.
Last year, Atlantic-community.org won the RIAS New Media Award and this year we have been selected as "A Landmark in the Land of Ideas 2009.'' However, these achievements could not have been secured without the support of our members and their important contributions to fostering transatlantic dialogue. Sharing their ideas and opinions through articles and comments, our members actively create the collective intelligence that drives the Atlantic Community.
