About us

Editorial Process

Authors interested in submitting an opinion or research article to Atlantic-Community.org for publication must register to be a member of the community. It is free to do so and only takes a few minutes.

We encourage articles on any issue affecting the transatlantic agenda, as long as they fit within our 500-700-word limit. Visit our Themen to find out more about what kind of topics we cover. The editorial team reviews all Your Opinion articles posted on Atlantic-Community.org to ensure the quality of our open think tank. We will make minor changes in spelling, grammar, and style for the sake of clarity without prior consultation with the author. If our editors want to make significant changes or have queries about content, the author will be consulted. We reserve the right to not publish a submitted article, if we feel it does not meet our standard of quality or is insufficiently relevant to the topics covered on the website.

Atlantic-Community.org thrives on lively debate on transatlantic issues and as such members are encouraged to make relevant comments. However, if you feel that an article or a comment is substantially incorrect, please email the editorial team with a link to the page in question.

You may also submit your thesis, term paper or other academic work for publication in the Your Research section. Your research and policy analysis will find a broader audience by being published at Atlantic-Community.org. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email the editorial team. Thank you!
