This award has been presented by the berlinpolis think tank in conjunction with Initiative ProDialog. Pictured are Founding Directors Jan-Friedrich Kallmorgen (center) and Dr. Johannes Bohnen (right) receiving the award at the ceremony in front of over 200 guests. Atlantic Community was recognised in the "Best Dialogue in Civil Society" category.
Kerstin Plehwe, the Chairperson of Initiative ProDialog said that Atlantic Community had shown "the ability of dialogue to promote participation and cooperation. In times of crisis the key to successful communication is to create trust and understanding."

In addition to this prize, in the last year we received the RIAS New Media Award as well as being selected as "A Landmark in the Land of Ideas 2009.''
This would not have been possible without the active input and contribution of our more than 2700 members in stimulating transatlantic debate across a number of different policy areas. Fostering such debate provides stimulating discussion and your ideas generate many interesting policy recommendations. Long may this continue!
Your support and involvement in Atlantic-Community.org allows us to continue to thrive, and hopefully we will receive further recognition on your behalf in the future.
