BIMUN: Global Social Responsibility; Merging the Needs of a Fragmented World
December 1 - 5, 2008, Bonn, Germany
Bonn International Model United Nations (BIMUN) / Simulation Internationale des Nations Unies de Bonn (SINUB) is the first German Model United Nations addressed to an international audience that is exclusively organised by students. By now, six conferences have been held from 2002 to 2007, during which more than 15 UN committees have been simulated by delegates coming from all continents. One of the key objectives of BIMUN/SINUB is to give participants the chance to share a wide range of ideas without excluding anyone from this great experience due to their geographic location. For this reason, we make great efforts to enable students from developing countries to take part in this Model United Nations. Another characteristic of BIMUN/SINUB is the traditional simulation of courts and of committees belonging to the European Union.
For the annual conference “Global Social Responsibility: Merging the Needs of a Fragmented World,” we invite applications for the following committees.
