Terror and Democracy: The Battle for Hearts and Minds: Soft Power in the Struggle against Global Jihadism This conference analyzes emerging trends in al-Qaeda’s and other jihadist movements’ propaganda, disinformation and psychological warfare activities. It discusses the most effective ways of countering this phenomenon. It examines the potential contribution of soft power and strategic influence to the West’s struggle against Jihadist terrorism. The organizers invite analysts, scholars, journalists, as well as representatives of governments, NGOs and the private sector to participate.
