Helmut Schmidt Prize Lecture 2009
The German Historical Institute cordially invites you to the Helmut Schmidt Prize Lecture: “Banking Crises in Three Countries, An Historical and Comparative Perspective”, with Richard Tilly.
The event will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2009, from 5:00 -7:30 pm, at the German Historical Institute, 1607 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington DC 20009.
A professor emeritus of economic and social history from the University of Münster, Richard Tilly is a renowned expert on the history of financial institutions in Europe and the United States.
The Helmut Schmidt Prize is generously sponsored by the Ebelin and Gerd Bucerius ZEIT Foundation. The event is held in cooperation with the German American Business Council.
