International Relations and Politics of Russia and Eurasia
The Department of International Relations at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (subject to final budgetary approval).
Area of specialization: International Relations and Politics of Russia and Eurasia. Open to specializations in a variety of approaches and sub-regions, but the most pressing needs from a curricular perspective are (a) political economy of Russia, (b) resource politics, and/or (c) relations with and the stability of peripheral areas of the former USSR (e.g., Central Asian republics, Chechnya/Dagestan, etc.).
Position requires commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as research. Publications and teaching experience required. Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment.
