Atlantic Council Seeks Editorial Assistant

The Atlantic Council of the United States, a non-partisan, non-profit policy institute focused on transatlantic relations, seeks an enthusiastic and articulate graduate student with exceptional analytical and writing skills, a passion for international relations and European affairs who will provide assistance to the Managing Editor and President of the Atlantic Council to generate daily content on the Atlantic Council’s analytical and news blogs: New Atlanticist and Atlantic Update. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in European affairs, including transatlantic relations, security, comparative politics, economics, trade and law. Demonstrated writings skills, a basic knowledge of HTML, and a command of image and video editing software are an advantage. The candidate need not be student of journalism, but should have experience in writing and editing in blog, and print or web publications.

This position would begin in mid-December and continue through spring 2009.
