Lecturer Literary Translation, University of Cyprus
The Department of English Studies, University of Cyprus, announces one (1) position at the rank of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the area of Literary Translation (including theatre). Eligible candidates are required to be fluent both in English and Greek. Knowledge of additional languages would be an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Department’s new Translation Studies section by teaching practical translation courses as well as theoretical courses in Literary Translation in relation to Intercultural Studies. According to the Law of the University of Cyprus, all candidates must have successfully completed their PhD-Degree by the date of application. Closing date: 27 August 2010.
