Looking for Internship in International Relations, Law or Politics
Dear Fellow Members of Atlantic-Community.org,
I am a recent MSc graduate from the IR department of the London School of Economics. I received my Bachelor degree in Law and Politics and I am highly motivated to get some work experience related to my academic background. My particular spheres of interest include Russia/Eurasia and the EU (which I wrote my postgraduate dissertation on). I am also interested in security and human rights issues, which I practised during my professional placement in a London law firm.
I will be happy to contribute my personal qualities and skills to any internship position. Although a native Russian, I have learned French and Spanish and studied in the UK for five years thus mastering my English to the bilingual level. I also believe that my analytical and research skills are above average as illustrated by my course work results and tutor comments. These skills were further improved as a result of my dissertation writing experience and my work placement in a law firm. Besides, the latter contributed to my teamwork experience, as did my internships in Russia, group academic projects and frequent participation in team sports. Furthermore, I now spend my second year developing various web sites so that my IT skills are of a relatively high level. Being responsible for all aspects of web site creation and development, I have also improved my ability to work independently. Finally, successfully combining my online projects with studies and other professional placements I have improved my time management skills and ability to multitask.
If my academic background and personal skills seem interesting to you, feel free to contact me on alexkrsn@gmail.com. CV and references are available upon request.
Best regards,
Alexey Krasnov
