Policy Research Assistant, Bretton Woods Project & UK Aid Network
The Bretton Woods Project works with NGOs and activists worldwide to monitor and challenge the World Bank and IMF. The UK Aid Network (UKAN) is a network of UK-based international development NGOs, working together to advocate for more and better aid.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with both organizations to assist with policy research, analysis, writing and advocacy on a number of development policy issues. Applicants need a working knowledge of development and/or aid issues; proven research skill, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location: London, UK
Salary: £19,888 + pension (pro rata)
Fixed term one-year contract (possibly renewable)
The position may be 4 days or 5 days per week dependant on fundraising
Deadline: 5 pm local time Monday 24 November 2008
First round of interviews will be held on 26 November. If a second round is needed it will be held on 3 December.
