Politics, Human Rights and International Relations

Dear Fellow Members of Atlantic-Community.org,

I am a recent Master’s graduate in Public Policy. I have a M.A. in Sociology of Law and a B.A. in International Relation.

My particular spheres of interest include human rights and minorities issues, especially ethnic and religious rights protection. I am also interested in Russia’s foreign policy towards Islamic States.

I have an extensive knowledge on human rights issues stemming from both academic experience during my Public Policy Master’s and International Relations studies and work experience in various human rights NGOs and within the EU institutions. I have developed strong analytical and reporting skills and I have gained a valuable insight into how the UN and EU Human Rights System functions.

During my studies, I researched on the problems of ethnic and religious minority rights protection during the inter-ethnic conflicts in such poly-confessional regions, namely in the Chechen Republic and in Kashmir. Furthermore, I focused on the role of international organizations in conflict prevention and post-conflict rehabilitation.

I will be happy to contribute my working and academic background to any job or paid traineeship position.

For further questions feel free to contact me: dmitry.foryy@coe.int or d.foryy@gmail.com. CV and references are available upon request.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Dmitry Foryy
