Professor in Global Studies. We are especially interested in someone who works in the field of economics, history of economics, gender & labor, or globalization.
One of South Korea's prestigious academic institutions, Dong-A University (DAU) seeks applicants for one full-time, tenure-track position in global studies. You would become a member of DAU's new Global Leaders Program (GLP): a dynamic, diversified, curriculum taught in English with the purpose of cultivating leadership characteristics to an elite group of motivated students.
Minimum requirements: 1) native-level English speaker, 2) a Ph.D. in an appropriate field.
Remuneration
- Salary: Minimum salary 50 million Korean Won. Salary will be based on the applicant's experience.
- Salary can be supplemented with publication incentives: 4 million Korean Won for Korean journals and 8 million Korean Won for published SCIE, SSCI, or A&HCI article
Benefits

- medical coverage, pension plan
- summer and winter breaks
Duties required
- teaching 9 credit hours per semester
- research/publication,
- limited administrative works for GLP

The starting date for employment is March 1, 2011.
