Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading
think tank specializing in international affairs, is seeking administrative assistants to work with our research programs. Positions will provide administrative and secretarial support, make travel arrangements, perform database work, web posting, coordinate meetings, and interface with the international public policy community. Excellent entry-level opportunity to work with senior scholars on one of several programs.
Democracy / Rule of Law: Examines the global state of democracy and US, European, and international efforts to support the advancement of democracy.
Middle East Program: Focuses on economic, socio-political, and strategic interests in the Arab world. Position will support the Washington, DC based program, which explores cross-cutting themes in coordination with the Carnegie Middle East Center.
International Economics: Monitors and analyzes short and long-term trends in the global economy, including macroeconomic developments, trade, commodities, and capital flows, and draws out policy implications.
Energy & Climate / Taskforce on Transportation Carbon and Deficit Reduction: Program focuses on policies that promote efficiency in global energy supply and demand and minimizing risks stemming from global climate change. The Taskforce explores opportunities to reduce transportation carbon emissions and the national deficit.
