Young professional looking for opportunities in Europe or US
Dear members of Atlantic-community.org,
As a double-masters Belgian student I am currently looking for opportunities for research assistants or (paid) interns. During my MSc International Political Economy at the London School of Economics, I acquired significant expertise in regular IR (strategic studies, transatlantic relations) while also developing a personal specialization in the combination of international economics and foreign policy (e.g., topics like economic sanctions, energy security, impact of globalization on emerging security challenges, arms trade politics, links between development and conflict, political risk analysis, etc.).
In addition I have earned a second masters in applied economics and acquired significant research experience while writing two dissertations. I already possess some professional experience through a few internships, including a six-month period at openDemocracy.net, where I wrote weekly briefings and analysis pieces on key developments in international security.
As a dynamic young professional I am open to a variety of opportunities in different places, and look forward to hearing about any possible vacancies. Thank you in advance for your interest. References, CV, and writing samples are available upon request.
Best regards,
Dries Belet
