Call for Papers for the 12th Annual PSA Postgraduate CANE Conference in Politics
The12th Annual PSA Postgraduate CANE Conference in Politics will be held at the University of Nottingham’s School of Politics and International Relations on Saturday, 8th November 2008. It is organised by postgraduates for postgraduates with the goal to showcase and share exciting postgraduate research in politics. It provides the perfect opportunity to present a paper or a ‘work in progress’ in a relaxed atmosphere and to discuss work among peers.
Abstracts for paper presentations are welcome on all aspects of comparative politics, political philosophy and international relations. The conference conveners especially invite papers related to the conference theme “Change or continuity? Politics in the 21st century”.
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS: 27th September 2008 Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and will be published on the CANE08 website.
The PSA charges a fee of £5 for its members and of £10 for non-members for attending CANE. Lunch, refreshments and a wine reception will be provided. An optional evening dinner, as well as travel and accommodation if needed will be at delegates’ own cost. To attend you must register, pay and submit your abstract (if you are presenting) by the 27th September 2008. The presentation of paper is not necessary for the participation.
