The decline of America's image in Europe is less a matter of hostility than disillusionment. ++ Reinvigorating the transatlantic relationship requires a more flexible, multilateral US, and Europe
to take more responsibility in the face of common problems. ++ With better attempts to deal with climate change and torture allegations rather than isolationism, the US could easily re-conquer Europe's heart.
