Haiti was supposed to elect a new Parliament but the February earthquake rendered that impossible. ++Tomorrow the current Parliament will end and the country will enter a period of uncertainty, “with enormous obstacles to overcome for a transparent, honest and peaceful vote this fall.” ++ Legitimate elections are imperative to restoring some stability to the much battered country.
